Storytelling Comedy Workshop with Anshita Koul
Registration via Eventbrite link in bio
Are you carrying the weight and agony of an untold story? Do you tend to tell mind blowing, jaw dropping, laughter inducing tales from your lived and shared experiences in a house party and feel both lighter and awkward overthinking later at 2 am in your bed? Are you a storyteller by nature and want to learn how to do so professionally? Then join this comedy storytelling workshop by Anshita Koul.
Things to expect -
1. Basics of storytelling.
2. Learning the differences & similarities between a good story and a funny story.
3. Why do we need to tell our stories?
Anshita Koul (she/they) @anshitakoulcomedy is a Berlin based, internationally touring and an independent polyglot comedian & storyteller from India. When not touring, Anshita is the host & producer of multiple comedy shows in Berlin.
They have created a name for themselves in the English comedy scene in Europe with their political satires, funny punch up routines and confessional comedy storytelling.

Today is Aromantic awareness day. Aromanticism is defined as “having little or no romantic feeling towards others.” It exists on a spectrum, from aroflux to demiromantic to grayromantic meaning some people may occasionally experience romantic attraction. Many aromantic people still experience deep platonic or queerplatonic love. Aromantic ≠ Asexual: “Aromantic” refers to romantic attraction, whereas “Asexual” refers to sexual attraction.
This and many other terms are included in our Queer Taboo game.

Naya de Souza was born in 1991 in the Caatinga region of Brazil and grew up between the borders of Bahia and Pernambuco. Working under different alter-egos like „LUX VENÉREA“ and „@Bundaskanzlerin,“ she transitions between disciplines such as performance art, comedy/stand-up, and cooking. Based in Berlin since 2016, Naya has stormed the cultural scene with her multimedia cabaret performances and politically charged stand-up sets. Her online „Bundaskanzlerin“ serves as a social media critique of Germany’s exclusionary political/art world, utilizing found footage, video collages, photography and memes to create an “anti censorship” language and tackle censored topics. With her pedagogical memes and adept teaching skills, Naya has become one of Berlin’s most influential voices, sought after by art and cultural institutions aiming to engage younger and marginalized audiences in Germany.

Rest, Resist, Rise🙏🏽
We are exhausted from carrying so much. Don’t we all deserve a day to breathe, to step back from daily struggles, and to reclaim our strength?
Let’s gather for a full day of workshops: a space to rest, to celebrate joy and movement, and to equip ourselves with tools to resist the violence and discrimination we face in our everyday lives. Together, we turn care into empowerment and solidarity into action.
✨ This event is organized in collaboration with queer bridges, a program of we are village that connects and supports LGBTQIA+ migrants and displaced people, fostering belonging, cultural exchange, and empowerment.
📅 Thursday, 04.09.2025, 10:00 – 17:00
📍we are village, Kurfürstenstraße 31–32, 10785 Berlin
This event is FLINTA-only, especially for Queer BIPoC folks with and without experiences of migration and displacement.
🌈Registration:
Send us a DM or write to: info@lesmigras.de
Let’s rest, move, protect, and care for ourselves; individually and together🙌🏼
